Since 1994, it has been my focus to learn as much as possible about the real estate industry by attending educational programs and stepping into real estate situations that provided extensive on-the-job training and learning opportunities. The accumulation of these combined experiences and knowledge has built an amazing foundation which I offer to my clients as a benefit in helping them to sell a home, buy a home or rent a home. Listening and guiding my clients through the process proves most satisfying for me.
For me the learning process has been continual. Can we agree that the Real Estate industry has a major impact on the economy? Being able to read, assimilate and apply current trends to the market as a whole is something that I enjoy very much and thrive on critical thinking for quick problem solutions that mitigate situations before they occur or as they occur.

Even after 20+ years in the industry, there are still surprises and things to learn. I am most passionate about my profession and take it seriously. Growing up and living in Stamford, Connecticut, I pursued and obtained a degree in interior and architectural design from the NY School of Interior Design. I love art and music with a heavy swirl of culture. While in Florida, I added to my educational profile a master’s degree in Adult Education, padding it out with 9 years of corporate training & adjunct professor at the National Fire Admin & Emergency Institute.
As an avid horsewoman, I learned team and individual sportsmanship competing in dressage, hunters and jumpers spiced with the excitement of guiding a 16 hand thoroughbred over six foot fences or foxhunting early morning to the bugle call of the Whip through sleepy fields and cow pastures.
Being an entrepreneur is in my blood. I grew up in a family business in Connecticut and continued the tradition with owned my own mortgage company, and now my own real estate brokerage. Each day is filled with new and exciting challenges. Thinking “outside the box”, troubleshooting, and problem-solving are key factors that arise and require resourceful solutions, persistent attention to details and consistent follow-up.
Since 1985, I have been a Sarasota resident which is now longer than living in Connecticut. By association I know the real estate market. The community has changed significantly during my 30 year residency. It has grown and shifted in demographics growing up from a sleepy beach town to a thriving city. I have seen the Sarasota area go through boom, bust, constrict and swing upward again. I have seen the trends, I have lived the trends.
Through the years, I have learned that honesty is the best policy, when I first started expressing “I don’t know” was awkward, today, it can be easily said. Why? Because I will find the answer. You can count on it. Anything is possible. Why? Because it is in the details. Give me a call I would love to meet you.
